Major General Mark R.
Quantock assumed duties as Director of Intelligence (CCJ2), United States Central Command, July 2016. MG Quantock received his commission from the New Mexico Military Institute.

He has a BA from the State University of New York (SUNY), Plattsburg, and Master’s Degrees from Central Michigan and the National War College. MG Quantock has served in a variety of Military Intelligence, staff and command positions.
His most recent assignment was as the Deputy Chief of Staff for Intelligence, Resolute Support, CJ2, U.S. Forces Afghanistan in Kabul where he served as the senior intelligence officer in theater with oversight over all intelligence operations in Afghanistan.
